It’s school picture day today at the Continuous Cardboard Fire. Not Senior Year when you can dress yourself either in dress apparel or “Fuck this I’m wearing a Corona t-shirt” apparel. I speak of elementary school picture day. The day where you were guaranteed to be sporting a Cosby sweater, a severe hair part or bowlcut (or the dreaded combo), and a smile that shall only be ridiculed for years to come. 1990-1991 Skybox basketball was the NBA’s school picture day for some players. One of these players was then Charlotte Hornets guard Rex Chapman. Sporting what can only be described as the remnants of a futon cover from 1971, Rex decided on the go-to pose of picture day: The Smiling Thinker. Sexy Rexy had all the ladies swooning. But he could handle it, shit he dribbled a basketball on fire!
